ROBINSON'S WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

Wednesday afternoon (1 to 4) and Tuesday evening (7 to 9) "Open Studio" meetings are held at Robinson's Community Room.

Please link to our blog for the most current schedule, as demonstrations and times may change.

OPEN STUDIO BLOG

If you want a Blog, but the idea of working at a computer sends you over the edge - either Pat Hillcoat (707-789-9353) or Colleen Mitchell (ravon247@sympatico.ca) are available to create one for you (for a nominal fee).

The "All Day Special Event" open studio and workshop with John Pryce was fabulous. John demonstrated his skill using acrylic medium, and the group went away with two good "starts" to finish at home. We all appreciated the good humour and honest sharing of technique and knowledge.

Learn more about workshops by members - link to our Member Bulletin Board page.

Themed Art Show and Sale

This year - 2008/2009 the Themed Art Show and Sale called "Elements In Art" focused on the four elements: Earth, Water, Fire and Air. The show was held at the Huntsville Curling Club (6 Veteran's Way, Huntsville, Ontario on May 1st and 2nd). This "Themed Art Show and Sale" was well received - see details of winners under the "Awards and Recognition" link on this site. We intend to host a similar event annually (same concept each year with a different theme).

Member hosted outings scheduled throughout the year encouraged participants to explore each of the specific elements and to collaborate with colleagues about their interpretation regardless of the selected medium.

WE NEED YOU!!

If you have know-how you would like to share - volunteer to be a demonstrator at one of our workshops. Or, let us know about your workshops - we will promote them.

Let Col know about your skill and she will find a spot for you. (ravon247@sympatico.ca).
