The 2007 Summer Show & Sale at Robinsons Independent Store was an unprecidented success! Twenty of the club's very talented artists participated in this first ever event resulting in great exposure for the club and its' members. The Huntsville Art Crowd is an active contributor to many of Muskoka’s charities and non profit organizations. Our members sponsor shows where a portion of the art, often using the “Silent Auction” venue, goes directly to these organizations. Our most recent partners are: Huntsville Hospital Foundation http://www.hdmhfoundation.ca/ Muskoka Literacy Council www.mlch.org Chrysalis Women’s Shelter http://chrysalishuntsville.com/ Volunteers and members from the Huntsville Art Crowd and these organizations have collaborated to contribute over $18,000 in the past three years to the growth and sustenance of these valuable community groups. |
